The
INSTRUCTOR: Professor Michael Rosenak
Michael Rosenak is Mandel Professor of Jewish Education at the Melton Centre for Jewish Education of the Hebrew University (Emeritus). He is also a scholar
in residence at the Mandel Institute for Educational and Social Leadership
in Jerusalem. Professor Rosenak has spoken widely and is the author of
numerous articles and books.
His most recent books are Tzarikh Iyyun (Hebrew, 5763, Magnes Press) and Tree of Life, Tree of Knowledge, (Westview
Press, 2001). His area of specialization is Philosophy of Education in
general and Philosophy of Jewish Education in particular. He came on Aliyah
in 1958 and lives in Jerusalem.
